Installation kits and simple instructions are available at the MID-HUDSON Office; customers experiencing trouble in connecting a DTA should call 800-342-5400 for assistance. If it is determined that a technician needs to be scheduled to assist a service call will be booked.

If a DTA goes bad, MID-HUDSON will replace it at no charge since the equipment is leased.

How many boxes can a customer have in their home? How many boxes are free?

There is no limit to the number of DTAs a customer can have in each home. All Cable customers will receive 1 free DTA.

Will the DTA have to be configured for the customer?

Every DTA will need to be provisioned to work with a specific customer account before they will function properly. No additional programming by the customer is needed.

We are currently issuing them from the office. You can call us at 1-800-342-5400 and can schedule a technician to install for you or you can order one online at http://www.mhcable.net/digitaldta/ and install yourself with the installation instructions enclosed. Any order for cable service will require DTAs.
